It will soon be Halloween, so what could be better than some black cats, Edgar Allen Poe, Tim Burton, some 'searches after horror' and a charm bracelet with a host of ghoulish images on it?
These treasures are from the shop LotusMira on Etsy, whose owner now lives in Washington DC, with three cats, Archimedes, Pythia and Kalliope - what fantastic names! - I wonder if Archimedes likes his/her bath?! The shop stocks jewelry and artwork, and in fact most pieces combine the two, with images crafted into pendants and charms, so you can carry your favorite pictures around with you.
And the shop name? Well, that comes from the owner's love of the lotus flower and her middle name which comes from a Sanskrit root meaning 'prosperous.'
